David is a U.S. veteran who works a day job in international finance. He learned BBQ the Texas way and cooked professionally in Oklahoma City as a chef with the OKC Thunder—before bringing that fire north.

Kristin grew up around Myrtle Beach and has been in the kitchen since she could reach the counter—making sides and desserts with her Gigi, then with trusted family and friends. She also runs Audi-Anne Candles.

They met in Greenville, South Carolina, and finally put down roots in Saratoga, Wyoming. After five years (and counting) in the valley—with three kids and hopes for more—they’re building the BBQ joint they’ve dreamed about for years.
